Change from hourly wage earner to salary earner

If an employee who previously worked as an hourly wage earner is to receive a fixed salary in the future, we recommend that you create the employee anew at the time of the change.

The same applies to employees who change from temporary to permanent employment. This has the following background:

1. In the reports, a differentiation is made in many places between temporary and permanent employees. If an employee changes between these two groups, the reports are no longer correct. Wrong figures are calculated.

2. Overtime is calculated for salaried employees. This happens retroactively with the first booking as a salaried employee. If older bookings (from the time as hourly wage earner) already exist, overtime will not be calculated correctly here.

Note: Remember to transfer the token to the "new" employee if one is in use.
